I live in North Central PA surrounded by reclaimed strip mines. There is a big section of the Susquehanna River that runs along where I run my dogs, it had gotten polluted by the run off from the coal mines. Not a living thing in the river when I first started running there...I will say that in the last few years it is getting back to normal.

S&P Kennel is a combination of my father-in-law and my last names - Sanders and Pickens. The name Good Pickens Beagles came from when Dianne was telling her parents about us and her mother was worried that she didn't have "good pickings" when it came to men. Since my name is Pickens, it became a running joke in the family. Thankfully her family now thinks she picked a good one.

Years ago and ions away when i moved to Mapel Valley farms the owners had just lost there son on a harley, never got to met brian but wanted to remember him and honor his name .The owners became family over the years so therefore The name Mapel Valley was born the Remember is in honor of a friend that left to Quick i never got to meet. So when you spell it Maple your wrong its Mapel just like the last name of Brian. :halo:

Fuzz was a childhood nickname my favorite uncle gave me at 8 years old after a can of moose and spike haircut went terrible wrong. Needless to say it looked as if I had an afro instead, ha ha. Until the day he passed away he always called me Fuzz or Fuzzy instead of Jamie. The nickname stuck over the years, so Fuzz's Beagles just seem fitting.
