I don't usually comment on these arguments,but this time I can't resist.Let me start by saying that iv'e been to a limited number of lp hunts and I don't personly know Mr Marple. But I believe if you have been to more than one lp hunt you had to at least have heard his name mentioned,and if haven't been to more hunts than that you dont know enough about it to even comment.So if you don't like lp stay away there's no law saying you have to go!! I personally will continue to attend every chace I get because I enjoy meeting the people and I love the chance to hear a pack of really good hounds pound a rabbitt .And as far as the cheating goes it probably does happen but most of the time it's just someone whinning because their dog got beat .By the way iv'e been cheated at almost every hunt iv'e been to otherwise my dog's would have won them all .JMO

It's all about jump dogs that can lay on a track and bring the rabbit around wide f'in open to meet their death of a 20 gauge. You gotta be honest with yourself before you can go to the top. Sometimes it's bad breaks, sometimes just judges who see things different when it comes to dogs. I have trialed many many trials and say honestly I have been done wrong twice, that's probably out of a thousand of them seems like. All formats have problems period. When it comes to little pack, it's all about friends and good times. Winning is just the icing on the cake.

As for Matt Marple, I won't stand behind him. I'll stand beside him anyday and take on anyone. He's my friend and has proved it time n time again, just like hounddog, crabtree, and many others too many to list. Friends like these are why I am still trialing to this day. So if you see us at a trial we're usually the ones takin pictures on the table at the end, just in case ya wanna see us bbbeagles.

So just like the back of my dog trailer says, it's pretty simple "just shut up n pull up, if your dog can't keep up"
