"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "Everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to make of your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me".

The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat."

"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"

"Well," said the man, "You don't know where you are or where you're going. You've risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow now, it's my fault."

Comparing gas prices of when Clinton was in office compared to now after a terrorist attack that tried to shut down our economy completely and a war in the gulf would be like comparing apples to granite rock. They don't work together. Next you will say that Clinton had a budget surplus. True, but at what expense? He cut the military so far that Osama probably thought we didn't have enough people to come after him so he just went ahead with his plan. The military (and your freedom) is the government's biggest single expendature and when you cut that budget almost in half, anyone would have a surplus.

Is the Social Security surplus that Clinton had for the working class of Americans gone under the Bush spend and support Haliburton, YES. Anyone of you fellow beaglers get any tax break under Bush, only if you are in the wealthiest 1%. I can't understand any working man supporting a Rep when all they have ever done is support the rich.
