I have been reading all the rules on PKC and I am definatly looking into some hunts this year. trying to get everybody on board at my club to hold a hunt. I no Frank Miller is on board for some PKC hunts at cummberland. And with thier grounds you could have a hek of a hunt

PKC is where i am heading these people running the organization looks like their looking for perfection. EXamples rules committee NOT a master of hounds ruling on protest but a random panel. Prize money dog boxes tracking collars dog food and from where i am at new ideas sounds like the old american rabbit hound asso. when everett morgan was running it the past was good. Now we run under dictership no election of officers no rules committee and no prizes to help counter act the cost except for those who our appointted officers not elective officers but appointted. Yea here i come pkc and i will bring as many people with me that i can.

I think you guys are going to like it once you try it, and look at all the prizes they gave away this year think what next year could be like. The winner won $1500.00 , a dog box, 2 tracking collars, and a year supply of purina dog food. I think its worth you guys giving it a try.

go to prohound.com and click on beagles and it will guide you from thier. I started asking around my area at interest in a new format. I started telling them about the rules and money that we could win and I m getting a very good response. What else is nice you dont need a judge to have to be in great shape for the right dog to come back. Its a little like UKC and you vote and score lines and strikes. Bill Mcfarland is a member at are club and he is runs alot of UKC and he is on board with us getting this thing up and running at Mercer. If anybody from my area or in driving distance that would be interested in this club taking off. speak up. Myself and Conti are pushing the paper threw. We would feel better if we new we would have people come.

It seems like a good format and it has taken off here in southern Ohio we had 20dogs at our 1st hunt and 25 at the 2nd hunt and that was with some little pack hunts real close. :approve: :approve: :approve:
