Have been in the sport for 60 years and have met 100's of just great hound people. I can not recall of ever been cheated in a dog deal or stud dog deal. Maybe it has happen but very rare. If you treat people fair right from the start they will treat you fair. People come to me with a bitch and he want pups I will try my very best to get him pups. He pays the money when the pups are born. No pups - No pay. Will some cheat me? I guess in todays world they might but I yet to have it happen. Beagle people are the greatest people in the world and I will try to treat them that way. George

Dont worry about me. I am just reading everyones thoughts. I have not had any problems when I have dealt with different breeders. Everyone has treated me like I would treat them.Chad Blair, Dexter Reffett, and Rick Griemata were all super guys. I bred my Mary gyp to Tom and Magic. Both were dry runs and we worked it out easily. Even though it may be my gyp with the problem. We drove to NY and run with rick and he treated me and dad very well. He even let us breed to max for free. All 3 are super guys.

Trail bustin!! Spill the beans ain't no sense in keeping it a secret and having a private pm put it out on the table and let the fellow beaglers know about someone!! I don't know ernie only talked to him once at a trial but I think a wrong doing or a possible un honest person needs to be put on FRONT STREET if I did someone wrong I would hope someone would do that to me and maybe I would realize my wrong and wake up and become the person God would want me to be!! Jmho!!

Now we're bashing stud dog owners?
Plus we've got grown men picking on a kid!

Guys come on.

I wish more kids were involved in beagling.
We'd have more young judges to train and our sport would never die!!
I applaud Southwoods for his efforts in beagling and good luck in the spring trials.

*plus if we stick with what George Pirman said we'd have far less problems.
