Find yourself a nice quiet, secluded area and go run em. Something else in michigan if you have a piece of land you could get registered as training grounds it is legal to run on those during the "quiet" season and it doesn't have to be fenced in. That's michigan though.

Up here in maine we have a training season from july first to the first of october when our kill season starts

You can run year round if you're a member of a beagle club. I run mine year round, in the hottest part of the summer I only run them late in the evening/night when it cools down. I like to keep them in shape, it also keeps their kennel manners in check. A kennel full of beagles just sitting around all the time is usually one with nuisance barking or diggers all the time. I keep mine wore out so they don't have energy for mischief

Hey Fellas
Here in MI you can train on fox year round. So, my beagles do both, ya right. But if that is what they want to here I will say it. Besides baby rabbits have NO sent when they are in the nest. So, I highly doubt my mutts would be able to smell them anyhow. The occasoinal nest that they would find is not going to hurt the population in the least. If I cant run them I have no use in owning any of them. I cant leave them locked up for that amount of time. Just my opinion.

Hey guys thanks for responses. alot differnt rules, but seems most states will allow running during the offseasons which is great. We also can run fox in NY starting July 1, which is when my dogs become fox hounds for a few months
