We would like to thank everyone who attended the trial. I would also like to thank Steve Mullens and JJ Haller for filling in as judges today!
The club is sorry for all the judge changes we had for this hunt but it was beyond our control. We will try to do better in the future.
I would like to personally thank Don Smith for not showing up to for his judging assignment he committed to and at least not calling and letting us know! This is the second time Don has done this to our club but rest assured it wont happen again!

Congrats to all that won and placed and a congrats to Kelly on Finishing Singer. As Don Smith he is a very good honest guy and has been part of the Mid-West for a very long time and Im sure he has his personal reason as to not showing. I would run under Don anytime.

Congrats to all that won and placed! I really don't think the internet is the place to run a well respected guys name in the ground though.

Congrats to everyone who won and placed. Congrats Kelly on finishing Singer. I have to agree with Chris and Chad. This board shouldnt be used to run another fellow beaglers name down. I have run under Don and he is as honest a judge as I have seen. I think if there is an issue you should have taken it up with him personally not on here. Just my opinion.

Congrats to all that placed. Congrats to Kelly and Singer she is deserving of the title. I agree with Chris and Chad that the computer is not a place for comments like this. I consider Don one of my best friends and any club that does not use him is losing out. Don is a good honest guy and has forgot more about beagles than most of us will ever know.

i think what Aron is getting at, it only takes a phone call, how hard is that. you guys that run clubs know it sucks when some one says they are gonna show up and they don't with out even calling.

All it takes is a Phone call. Once is acceptable or excusable twice is not.Ron Conroe wrote:i think what Aron is getting at, it only takes a phone call, how hard is that. you guys that run clubs know it sucks when some one says they are gonna show up and they don't with out even calling.
From Field to Show and Show to Field the way it should be
Re: Central Illinois AKC MidWest Results
Congrats to all who won and placed. I seen some really awesome dogs. The midwest is stacked with dog power!
As for the issue with Don, I feel bad for all those beaglers who drove hundreds of miles to run under Don thinking he was really going to be there. Aaron did a good job replacing the judges that he had to replace and at least they called to let him know they would not be there. Luckily we had a guy willing to do the job at the last minute. 33 big bitches and at 7am we only had 1 judge. If you can`t understand why Aaron might be a bit bitter about this issue then you`ve probably never been in that situation. Obviously we think Don is a honest guy and a good judge or he wouldn`t have been an advertised judge to begin with. Maybe if people were held accountable for this type of nonsense it wouldn`t happen!
