PKC Trial Piketon,Ohio--- 3/5/2011

We are having our first PKC hunt Saturday March 5th. We have been averaging around 20 dogs at each hunt,but I expect around 30 dogs from the calls I've been getting.Based on 30 dogs this is the breakdown.You can join PKC and register your dog at the club.Deadline is 7:00 AM.


$25 Entry
1st--$207.00
2nd--$99.00
3rd--$77.00
4th--$45.00
5th--$23.00
Rosettes for 1st thru 4th place.
We have Frost pocket knives to raffle off and hopefully other prizes.

in addition to the 25.00 entry fee per/hound, what additional fees are required for a first time entrant? 25.00 membership fee, registration fee for each hound? what else? Are hunting judges used , as UKC H&H format?

Entry $25.00
Hound Registeration $15.00 per hound.
PKC Membership $25.00 ( optional see below) With PKC membership you receive a 1 year suscription of Rabbit Hunter magazine.A $24.00 value.

"Guest Hunter"- Guest hunters shall be permitted to enter $15 and $25 Open Events and "Try One" hunts only. A person may enter only three (3) events as a "Guest Hunter" and awards will not count toward any qualification or standing.A club may refuse the entry of a guest hunter at its discretion.Guest hunters may not vote concerning the question to split or to recast for placement.Indicate "Guest" in places for PKC number of dog and Membership number of owner and/or handler.

sounds like you are going to have one heck of a PKC trial up there sure wished I had that weekend open I would have made the drive for that !

Had a good time at Piketon great guy's good food and good running
Didn't win but we had a great time my first time judging a pkc event went well
I think everyone should give pkc a try.
