She is being much better now. But she is going to be spayed when she dries up. I won't breed her again. She was such a good mother the first litter she had 3 years ago. This time she was a totally different dog. I have had to hold her down at times to let them nurse. The lone survivor is a scrapper. He takes off on expeditions all the time. Once he gets his eyes open I have the feeling we are going to be in trouble!!

You do what you feel is best, but I tell you what I'd do. I'd breed her right back to try and set her hormones right again..., if that failed, I'd do as you suggest.
A good bitch is worth a second chance if you think alot of her.
I would give anything to have your second chance with LucyLou again...
