I had them on a dog sooo bad it was double ugly. I had them prior to this on dogs but nothing compared to this. I took her to a vet that said if i would just wait they would probably fall off but she could take them off if i was in a hurry. I ended up using COMOUNDW i bought at Walgreens. With the help of the weeds teariing some off while hunting they eventually came off. I didnt worry about her licking the stuff i was just so tired of seeing her so pitifull looking. good luck
I had a young female that had what I think was a wart pop up on her lower lip. It got up to about the size of an eraser on a #2 pencil. I was ready to call the vet to get it looked at when it started shrinking on it's own. It's all but gone now, just a tiny, small speck and I'd say it will be completely gone in a few more days. We'll see.

Did you buy the multiple B shot? That's all they sell here for some reason.
We used to get the straight B6 and that sure did the trick for the warts, but now that shot is not available. Maybe the multiple is too weak in 6.
Well at least my post was right about it being a Virus!!!! lol
Who is your friend that's coming to Alabama?

I had this once in a hound that was about a year old at the time. They just appeared suddenly and covered the roof of her mouth and tongue. They were large and looked awful. I panicked and brought her to the vet right away. He laughed and said they would be gone in a few days. I thought he was nuts, but he was right, in a few days they disappeared. I have never seen it before or since, but I guess there not all that uncommon.
They should go away eventually. The immune system doesn't always attack them right away. If a wart appears somewhere away from the mouth (chin, etc), you can put some over-the-counter topical stuff to treat that one, and it will stimulate the immune system to attack the rest. If the warts are in the mouth and on the lips, the meds are too dangerous to use, so you'll just have to play the waiting game.
I had one get literally several hundred inside of his mouth on his cheeks. You couldn't see any cheek...just virus. A vet removed maybe half, and they grew back. I could see them growing on the roof of his mouth back by his throat, and I was worried he'd have breathing and swallowing problems. The vet removed half again, and within a few weeks, his body took care of the rest.

Alabama John - Human warts are also caused by a virus.
Removing warts is acceptable and sometimes necessary practice (as in the case I described with mine). As another poster mentioned, the removed warts can also be used to create an autogenous vaccine.
If I ever had a wart problem with a dog again, I'll try the dandelion juice and see how it does.
