Hey Reddog1 when you said you were running this week I thouoght that icy snow would make it rough. We have been lucky this year and hit the weather good most times out.

I think the answer to not having a bloody tail is because they dont run rabbits. They are not hunting dogs. Even max gets a little blood on his once in a while.

Could it be that every region of the country is different ? I know in Michigan, the lower part is full of briars and my hounds tails get tor up but when I take them to the U.P. to run hare, The cover is completely different and no blood is shed.
