I BOUGHT A PAIR OF THE WOODY MAX LAST SEASON AND I LOVE THEM. I AM A BIG GUY AND I CAN WALK ALL DAY IN THEM AND MY FEET DON'T HURT AND STAY DRY. I DID POKE A HOLE IN THEM THIS YEAR IN THE TOPS, AND FOUND THAT THE LIQUID ELECTRICIAN TAPE, COMES IN A BOTTLE WITH A BRUSH WORKS GREAT FOR PATCHING THE NEOPRENE. IT STAYS FLEXABLE AND SEALS THE HOLE.

BEST THING THAT I AHAVE BOUGHT FOR HUNTING.

NO way!! I just came home from a hunt and my feet were wet to and I thought it could be sweat.. I just bought them two weeks ago.. They are the Muckmasters....

I am taking them tonight and putting them in the bathtub and putting a big rock in them and seeing if they leak in 4 inches of water. If so they are going back.. at least its a one year warranty so I'll get a new pair every month if I have too..

If it is sweat i think its disgusting and not good for your feet. Mine almost feel like the bottoms of them burn.

You can't beat a good leather hunting boot. Only they get torn up in a year. Ohwell atleast my feet are comfortable.

and the only way i can wear the mucks is to have them rolled down. If I wear them all the way up my leg its way to hot.

Hey Joey , I have never been one for real high boots they always seem to weight me down I am getting ready to purchase one of the Mucks half boot. Not really sure of their name but look to be more comfortable. Hopefully they wont leak.

the mucks i bought feel good on my feet. I've never had cold feet yet on a hunt since i've started wearing them. My feet don't hunt any. My feet have been wet every time i've worn them. Its either sweat or theirs a hole in them. If its sweat then my feet sweat more than i thought cause almost my entire sock is wet and my heal is totally soaked. My Sock turns BLUE

Im sure its sweat. The Woody Max boots are not made for walking alot. My feet will be soaked in my Woody Max's if I wear them when I do alot of walking. They are designed to keep your feet warm like when your sitting in a stand deer hunting. Muck makes other "models" of boots that have less insulation and are made more for walking. I have a pair of Mucks that have chaps sown on them (cant remember what model they are) that dont make my feet sweat nearly as much but my feet freeze if I wear them while sitting in a deer stand in cold weather.

Joey,it is sweat, the type you have might have a real cold rating, I have the brown wetland type with orange inside, and my socks are only wet if I wear super heavy socks and walk alot. I use polyester sock inserts which wick moisture from your foot to your outer sock, and my feet rarely get wet. i have worn them through the toughest briars, and no leaks. Thought the same thing as you, I filled with water and left over night, next morning same level, no leak.. Good luck

Joey if you bought mucks with insulation in them and you are walking you feet will sweat. Insulated boot are made for sitting in a tree to keep you feet warm. Try the unininsulated boots.

Thats the problem in getting a good pair of boots for rabbit hunting as you never know how much walking you will be doing. I have found that the northerner boots work real well for rabbit hunting when you will be at least moving some BUT not very good when standing for long periods of time.

These are the same boots that I have that have the chaps sown on them that I was talking about in my post above. They are insulated but not nearly as much as the Woody Max's.
