A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
James I am glad them babies took after moms side. Good pic. You better start feeding them pot lickers a bowl of briars every morning, the end of the month will be here soon. Tally HO.
Schag they are all my grade dog bloodline except for Tera, she is old Yellow creek breeding so I was told, Cha- cha is Branko's hard rock on top and Maravics blue ninja on bottom, she came from Brian Vinson of river vally beagles, Abbey is off of Tera and a Branko's one tuff ombre male and Mary is off of a dog Troy Lee had proper Bear and a Branko's lumberjack and majic joey female. Like I said the rest are my bloodline
Dave they have had plenty of brier time. I would rather run dogs than hunt so they run a couple of times a week all year. Hope all is well and planning to see you folks the last weekend of Febuary.
Thanks BDP, Anthony if you hunted Saturday in that mess you outdid me. I ran my young dogs except for Fancy (shes in an extra friendly state right now) most of the day Sunday, turned out about 7:30 and run till about 2:30, had some perty good running. The way the rabbit population is at least where I have been and as hard as is to line up a hunt and the way the weather has been this and last year too I just as soon go run when I can and throw a hunt in occasionally, I don't care about killing the ole rabbit anyway. I don't care what color they are as long as they can get it done when there feet hit the ground.
jb, nice looking hounds but better looking grandkids. All 3 of my kids are right around those ages and like to come along. It's great to see any of today's kids out there getting into that kinda stuff.
Btw, abbey is my favorite. I like a nice houndy looking dog......and I love a little ticking on the front legs like that.
