This is a clip about halfway through a 90 minute race Saturday morning. Wish I could get the dogs to speed up a little...

Thats the way they are supposed to be run. HECK with bein able to have coffee n doughnuts while ur waitin on a bunny to come by.

Boy them hounds turnin and a burnin i used to run that type of dog and miss it sometimes That one was stringing dogs he wasnt waitin on no one

Nice video. What is an average loss in a race like that? Ours run very similar to that when we run 8-10 and they will overun an end pretty regular.

Hey flatpick, what kinda blood is in those dogs of yours? I would have to say thats about as fast a s a hound can get without becoming the hunter themselves! Also, what area of TN are you in exactly?

That lead dog is from redman, he's a monster. The other three are grade black and tan dogs our family has kept for about 50 years. They have some blackjack, and older branko blood. Just good all around hounds. The red dog pushes the others sometimes, but they can slow down when they have to. They don't like to run slow, but they can. Sometimes they over run quite a bit. After an hour or two, they'll settle in. Love that speed when they can handle it. They ran this rabbit for over 90 minutes. I'm about 35-40 miles north of Knoxville Tn.
