Driving around this morning I noticed a tree across the road. When I hit the brakes nothing happened, the road was two inches of ice. I slid into it and it broke my grill and my wind shield. I am sick of winter.

news guy said we had 20"on top of 5" man my arms are tired from shoveling snow. I have scott kennels and the snow drifted all the way in them. man i can't wait till spring!!!!

Swamp I was going to say we need to do some running but after this garbage it might be a while before we find a rabbit. I have to get out of the driveway before I can do any hunting!! Once the weather gets better we will have to let the hounds out!!

I have been working in the New England area for the last month and it's been brutal.There were days the temp was in the minus column going to work.That's just too cold for us Carolina boys.I do work inside so I shouldn't whine too much.I think we had 12 to 15 inches the last 2 days.Can't wait to get back home.Lol!!

snow was almost level to the doors of my sennecas this morning,but i did notice some fresh rabbit activity around the schrubbery at work tonite.I`ll be night running this weekend.hope to find some night feeders away from there holes.maybe get a decent run.

Lots and lots of snow!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kept coming and coming and coming for hours and hours and hours!!!

I spent 20 straight hours in my truck getting all of our customers dug out and a good chunk of my time again today. I had to plow my way up a main road to get to the first customer which happens to be our local hospital yesterday and 1:00 am..........only about 9 miles away!! 2 guys couldn't make it in so I had to get Ron up to come run a truck for me. I'm only 32 but I've been plowing for 10 years and it's the worst one I've ever seen around here.

We had anywhere from 12 to 23 ". With the 30 mph wind there,s drifts 4 & 5 ft high. The gravel roads are one lane with the sides higher than the truck. schools been closed since Tuesday. More snow predicted for Sunday. don't look good for runnin. we ain't use to this.

I just got done runnin my dogs in the back yard (woods) I let them out they hit the snow and disappeared ! ..
So I got a brain fart and started up the snow blower and made a bunch of paths in the back yard for them to run , they loved it

You know, seems like lower MI got the winter, I remember having when I was a kid, (grew up North of Flint). As I remember up until the early 80's, it was always cold and lots of snow. Maybe a long strech of mild winters have spoiled a few.

I understand the frustration, with cottontails not wanting to run, imagine a few die hards are thinking of mid winter Hare hunts.

Wish I took a picture this week, took about 4 yards of snow off a small section of the roof between the house and garage, about 2 1/2 feet deep. That didn't come from the storm you got, just built up from Nov till now.
