I just read on the MSN home page that scientists working in Ethiopia discovered through genetic testing that what were thought to be members of the jackal family are in fact directly related to the Gray Wolf. The first thing I thought (after I thought- great more tax dollars at work) was perfect the Michigan DNR can either barter or purchase some of these and transplant them in the Southern Lower Peninsula.
