Powdery snow, How do your hounds fair in it ?

Took the advice of many that said cut the pack to 1 or 2 hounds at a time, We ran my female solo last night and it was a little choppy put she did well, she got 3 circles before it ended (I assume a loss), Then we ran my partners female she ran 1 solo but it holed up after the first circle, Then we ran the 2 together today and they did a good job together, jumped 3 , ran 3, shot 2, not a bad day at all for the condition's and wind, My female is now my cold weather/bad scenting day's hound and she will be soloed alot on these type days, I never had the heart to only take 1 hound and leave the other home, but it turns out this is what I have to do, Thanks for all the help everyone, Scott

My dogs can handle powdery snow but if they dont i dont own or feed them Simple as that.
