what is this ? you got any information ? is it a meat based dog food with out grain fillers ? price ?
It's a grain free food, no corn, no soy and no byproducts. It's a very good food, the price scares alot of folks.....a 30 lb bag goes for about $40-45
Yeah, it is a purely meat based food. I can pick up a bag at my local feed store for 39.99 a bag or around $42 at Tractor supply. It is a very expensive food however I'm only feeding two dogs so it affords me to get it for them. I haven't had to increase the amount of food regardless of weather or running and they seem to have no bottom on it. From what I have read this food has to be one of the best you can feed other than a natural diet (raw).

Check out Loyall by Nutrena. I used to feed Pro plan but had trouble getting it. I switched Loyall and have loved it.

I use to feed Diamond High Energy and loved it, but switched over to the Diamond Natural Extreme Athlete for my german sheperd. As for the beagles I give them Diamond Natural Chicken & Rice mixed with the extreme athlete and love the results. For puppies I feed Authority Chicken. Get it at Petsmart and pups for of energy and very nice coats.

I fed raw for almost a year..really like the results but picked up a few more dogs went from 4 dogs to 9 dogs..could'nt keep up with it. Had some of my hare hunting buddies tell me about taste of the wild the one guy was feeding it he only kept 2 dogs. I'm going to go look into it, might try mixing it with purina one and see what kind of results i get lol 40 bucks for a 30lbs bag is too steep for my wallet hahaha 33 bucks for a 37.5 lb bag of purina one is costly enough but the results i liked were there from it so i stuck with it till it got cold...

Re: What dog food are you feeding??
Depends on the time of the year and the dog. I wish I could just feed one food all year long to all of my dogs and just cut back or increase the amount at different times. But It doesn't work that way for me. I have always kept between ten and twenty dogs and it seems like some of them have nutritional requirements different enough to warrant different food. I evaluate them on a one on one basis as to their nutritional requirements the same as I evualate them on how much or how little running they need, Solo time, etc:. I can't just buy a "better" more expensive feed like TOW or INSTINCT RABBIT FORMULA and feed it in varying amounts. The reason being, some of my dogs will put on an extra step and be a little too quick with their mouth, along with adding too much competive spirit. I have some dogs on Dog Chow right now and that works well with them, If I feed them Pro Plan performance they will do some of the things I mentioned above. The ones on Pro Plan Performance will become listless and run down on Dog Chow. I have some that require the " BETTER" feeds such as TOW . My opinion based on my dogs, if you want to add another step to your dogs speed, you can do it with feed. The only constant I have with regards to feed is, I always feed Purina Puppy Chow to my pups.
