We feed Kenny O's. Fed Pride for several years before that. We buddy up and get about 3 tons at a time. We have not had a price increase as of yet. Maybe you could get some guys together and see if you can work a deal direct with Kenny. He's a pretty good guy.

I was feeding the 26-18 Southern States Advanced Active but place I was buying from was raising the prices everytime I bought 520lbs.......That store is not a Southern States and is selling it well higher than the Southern States stores and other stores that carry it. Last time I went to buy I was told another price increase and said no-more. Told them the prices of the feed other places are selling and what my Southern States contact in GA sells it for and it doesn't jive.

I was in there the other day to buy some hay and she asked me for my contact with Southern States so they can work out a price on it for me........Not sure if I want to go that route as there was a price worked out agreed to if I bought at least 500lbs at a time............they didn't keep that agreement raising prices all the time and not wanting flip flop on dog feed again if they pull that junk again.

Very good food and I was well pleased with it.

Right now I'm feeding ole roy from walmart, during the summer months it's o.k but I've been having some skin issues with a female that I have and now I'm going to a dog food that called Native performance dog foods,After reading about it the number one ingredient is chicken meal, then chicken fat and it also states that it produce's 500 cal per cup or 2000 per lbs crude protein 30.0% and it has levels that has a different activity. but the price is 40.00 per 40 lbs and I'm hoping to work out a deal some where cause feeding 100 lbs a week is getting rough and the dogs dont look as good as I would like,if I hunt them three days in a row they start to look thin.

Are you able to give out his contact information? I live in Western PA, that price seems good to me even if it does go up a lil bit

THINKING OF SWITCHING TO BLACK GOLD
JUST BECAUSE I USED TO FEED IT AND THEN IT GOT WHERE I COULDNT GET
IT BUT ITS BECOME AVAILABLE AGAIN TO ME
TRYING TO DECIDE WHICH ONE OF THE TWO TO FEED
BUT RIGHT NOW ITS PURINA ONE LAMB AND RICE
ANY ADVICE ON WHICH ONE YOU WOULD FEED?

Was feeding purina one loved it dogs looked good like i keep them in the house I was getting it at wal mart LOL convientent b/c i just pick it up while i was shopping for myself ...just switched 2 weeks ago to diamond performance chicken and rice 30/20 26.95/40lbs. Purina one lamb and rice was 32.99/37.5lbs I belive its 24/18 ??? is that correct can't remember now. Anyhow I switched ONLY b/c as it got colder I felt like i had to increase the amount to keep weight on the dogs while I've been running just about everyday. You noticed any such luck in you're dogs ? I recommend Purina One to anyone. It's only been 3 weeks, and I need to give it more time but not really likeing the diamond performance chicken and rice as much....I'm gonna give it a month or two before I switch back just to see how it goes, but i will be switching back for sure once it warms up....When i was looking to switch from purina one I was looking into the exclusive brand of dog food it's suppose to be a high quality food with good ingredients, but while i was shopping the exclusive high performance was the same price for 35lbs as diamond chicken and rice was for 40lbs and the indgredients, and percentages were EXACTLY the same so i went with diamond b/c it was 40lbs for the same price as exclusive for 35lbs.

WELL I WAS THINKING ABOUT MY POST ON MY WAY HOME FROM RUNNING MY DOGS A LIL WHILE AGO
AND I TOO WAS THINKING ABOUT HOW THEY DONE GOOD ON THE PURINA ONE IN THE SUMMER AND NOW AS IT GETS COLDER IM HAVING TO INCREASE THEIR FEED ALOT
NO BIG DEAL FOR ME THOUGH I STILL LIKE THE PURINA ONE
FEED ALOT MORE TO KEEP THEIR WEIGHT WHERE I LIKE IT
I MAY OR MAY NOT SWITCH TO BLACK GOLD IM NOT REALLY SURE

I feed the Southern States Complete Sport 24/20. Been feeding it the last couple years, seems to be pretty decent. Price is 14.99 for a 40# bag, if you buy 10 or more you get a dollar a bag discount. Manager also said he is probably going to have a BIG SALE around the New Year, buy 1 get 1 half off! This is at a Southern States Co op store. I don't think that for the price, you can get a better food, compares real close to the Black Gold I used to feed but it kept going up it seemed every month! I was paying 24.00 a 50# bag, when I finally had enough.

what is this ? you got any information ? is it a meat based dog food with out grain fillers ? price ?

It's a grain free food, no corn, no soy and no byproducts. It's a very good food, the price scares alot of folks.....a 30 lb bag goes for about $40-45
