what? so your saying he is not the most genetically perfect hound like i am shure the add from up north said he was?you would not believe how many of these dogs that they sale for 1000 to 1500 with a big story about how they took time to breed this cross with tons of research and blah,blah,blah....i have seen.....................

Should have been a dead give away when the person saleing the dog would not put there face in pic right!
But all jokes a side we have gave the dog every opertunity there is to get over the gun shy problem. It is not going to change. I have been rabbit hunting for 28 yrs. I have always been told there is not but one way to get it out of them. I really do beieve this to be true. JMO! I am sure all these great trainers will say they have broke them and can. Well here is you one prove it to me!
The sad thing is he can really run a rabbit. I guess that is why it is hard to just you know.

So why can't you use him as a stud and sell breedings? Just curiouse I have no idea or will the pups be gunshy as well is it a genetic thing or just a fluke like 1 in 100? Just curiouse.
I personally do not breed to $&%& like that but to eaches on. No way could I charge to breed to him. JMO I look to do better in a stud not worse, and in trying to do that it does not always work.

I think I would've called Branko himself and seen if he would have made the situation right. I know of a few people that have done this and they made the situation right JMO. At least your being honest about how this dog runs.

Did that! But he said we made him gun shy. When he was got it was the end of rabbit season never shot over him. Then when season came in shot and had to look him. Called and was told QUOTE: I DO NOT KNOW HOW YOU GUYS DID, MAYBE YOU SHOT THE DOGS AND THEM MADE THIS WAY!
By the way I did not just start running dogs when I bought these dogs and all three running dogs from him are the same way. But who knows maybe they where the only three dogs that got shot while hunting which made these three dogs gun shy. You tell me!
The dogs was never shoot around that is why he is this way not genetics. JMHO
