Anybody ever use Invomec as a all around wormer? I have heard good things but trust you guys more. If not what is a good alternative? Kerry McGrath Road Beagles

Ivomec once a month for heart worms, and safeguard for everything but common tapes.
You need something with praziquantel for common tapes, safeguard will kill dog tapes.
I like to alternate between wormers so that they don't build up a tolerance.

I have had good results with Valbazin for tapes and what Ivomac doesnt get.

I have also had real good results with Valbazen and a bottle usually last me a long time.

What's the directions for using Valbazin? How much per beagle? Do you give only one day or three days in row? I know with most tape wormers you must give dose then wait 20-21 days give another treatment.

I have used valbazen as well good stuff, just find it easier to use praziquantel (all wormer) pills.
Valbazen last a little longer and can be bought a little cheaper.
Zimecterin Gold contains both Ivermectin and Praziquantel, I prefer to use
them separately so that I know exactly how much of each I am giving each dog.

Equimax horse wormer for ALL worms. Only give in warm months.

I also use a horse paste bought at tractor supply (TSC). 1.87% ivermectin. It's about $ 7- $ 9 . Never have any problems. Small dot on fingertip wiped on the tongue of the dog. Very cheap and last a long time.
