I don't need the Gov. or the AKC more in my business... accountability and responsibility starts and ends at home...
So you ARE a Republican after all.

Bev. Is republican good or bad? Didn't want to miss a nuance here.

bucks, Democrats are notorious for wanting more government (see present administration) and Rebublicans for wanting less. Not a good/bad nuance, just a confirmation of alliances.

Bev: I am glad we have moved past the subject matter of this thread. I must say "a confirmation of alliances" is great rhetoric.

There's no rhetoric to it, bucks. Just because the statement uses words with more than 4 letters doesn't make it rhetoric. It's just plain English -- a simple concept.

Confirmation: 2. something that confirms; verification. World English Dictionary
Alliances: 1. association; coalition, combination, bloc; partnership; affiliation. Same source

But if it helps to put it into smaller words, here ya go:
"Now we know what side he's really on" or, "he obviously voted for the wrong party in 2008."

Nice try at trying to hold my feet to the fire whilst pushing your perceived to be superior liberal stance. Won't work. I'm not that easily distracted. ;)

Bev. Totally wrong in your inference. I simply thought it was nice language. I was trying to compliment you but, if you perceived it to be negative in nature, I apologize. I am neither liberal nor conservative but a freethinker who votes independently and thinks logically without blindly following a leader. I don't like labels especially those that are designed to belittle or lessen a personality.

Bev. Oh yea. Bet it would be fun to have a conversation with you on philosophy and the issues of the day. Course, you would have to spot me a few points.

Okay, bucks, I'll spot you a few points on the definition of rhetoric:

1. (in writing or speech) the undue use of exaggeration or display; bombast.

I take exception to that. Sorry. Not only don't I exaggerate, when I speak it's not undue -- it's overdue. I don't speak up enough on this board, but when I do, it's generally in somebody's defense. I can't help it if the other side can't handle it.

But I'll spot you some points on the use of the word "rhetoric"...because there are secondary definitions that simply imply "good pursuasive skills."

Bev: My reference to the word was simply the art of effective writing or speaking. Why so sensitive. I was trying to compliment you on the use of language skill and the english word. Nothing more. No alternative mission. Anyway, I win on points.

I understand this is your site Bev, (and I do enjoy the site) and you may ban me, but this issue is very important to some of us.
I feel if you want to talk politics and banter back and forth with buck, another thread should have been started to do so.

PLEASE NOTE:

I have not, I repeat, HAVE NOT disclosed the breeders name.
Does everyone understand that?????

I recieved a PM from a man that is telling me his daughter answered the phone Wed. and a man threatened to burn their house down about this issue.

Come on people, quit ASSUMING and let the AKC do their due diligence on the matter.

Try to understand, I cannot divulge the breeder no more than I can clear anyone. If I start clearing people, others will be able to narrow it down.
I do not want any harm to come to the breeder, much less his family. I only want AKC to ban him for life and try to find the rightful sire to Frosty and Digger.
If AKC does this, everyones papers will be good, the AKC just needs to fill in the proper sire in the pedigree

When the AKC rules and I decide to announce the breeder, (which I'm not so sure I will now, if someone is going to harm the breeder or his family) that is when those affected need to take the proper and LEGAL channels.

PLEASE be patient and let calmer heads prevail.
