I didn't see any bashing today, except someone calling a long line of family hounds a bunch of "mutts and feists"
It seem we have trouble remembering Frosty was a "female" pup, resulting from the questionable breeding of Sport to Bonnie.
I've had 2 twelve year olds, would I trust them to fill out AKC papers? Yes...Would I re-check over them before the envelop was sealed and stamped? YES
To clear the clouds that have been offered up as "what if's", this is the post from Sports owner...
Swampman wrote:I asked Chuck, as hard as it was for him, to bite his tongue until I had absolute proof.
And if you think Chuck is pi**ed, well, need I say more!

I did talk to the "breeder" before anything was posted.
The "breeder" told me that the dog (frosty) was old and possibly dead in the late 90's, yet the AKC papers show it was born 12-97.
Not to mention the Digger dog, and any offspring, is a part of this as well..

How convenient to blame a dead man when he cannot defend himself.
And if the deceased man was behind this, as the "breeder" is claiming, the "breeder" went along with it, which is just as bad in my book.

Deny all you want, I have the documentation, I owned Sport, and I have never met the "breeder".
The entire litter registration, including my signature, is forged. It is so obvious, a blind man could tell.

AKC has been notified, they have all of the documentation, and I will do everything in my power to get the "breeder" and anyone else involved, banned for life from the AKC.

I despise lying, deceitful people, all for the almighty dollar.

I apologize to all unsuspecting victims that have or had dogs that trace back to this falsified breeding for bringing this out, but it had to be done.

The world wide web is a wonderful thing. If it wasn't for the internet, I would never have met Chuck, seen the pedigree, and discovered what this culprit did.
I'm sure the thought process was, that northern boy will never be the wiser, NOT!
Chuck, you are one upstanding man in my book, and I'm proud to call you my friend.

NOTE:
No names have been given by either Chuck or myself.
I am waiting to see what AKC does before I name the "breeder"

Bev,
I understand what you are getting at. I truly wish my and all other hounds involved could be corrected.I seriouslly doubt it will happen. We had talked and decided not to respond because it seems like now its almost same o same o same.
I truly appreciate all the support that i/we have gotten. This was not really an easy thing to because of the ripple effect I knew it would have on many, many people and hounds. The magnimnity of this is overwhelming and it has encompassed my mind.
Let me reiterate,I DO NOT have any thing to hide, you all may bash me if you chose, every one by now should have my name, pm phone no. I have wanted to post these document`s neumorus time`s but honor Swamps wishes. They will be posted only when Swamp has his findings in hand from AKC. This may be a long process, where ever the ax falls so be it.

Am going out with my  fiests an run bunnies. Also have a terminal illness called life, hope this all gets resolved.

Respectfully

Ya know, Charles. You never were as good at recognizing sarcasm as you were at dishing it out. Pity. And I guess it's not a long line of hounds anymore is it? *snort* Nothing left to do but shoot them all and start over.

This is something I still can't figure :

Qoute from SR PAtch :
What I'm getting at is, who had the Sire's info in order to fill in the litter application papers?
I'm always having to go back and look for the "issue date" on the papers in order to complete the application.

Like him I have to go back & forth fot this info , also who and how could they of had this info ? Someone had to of had his AKC papers to aquire this info , and Swampman say's he didn't sign anything , so how and why did someone else have Spots AKC to get this info ?

Just wondering

SR ,
AS you see my post was moved to Searching for Information by Bev after I had no issue's for it being moved . Just incase you didn't see that .
Hoping you will reply to the last string I put there , but if not I'll try to understand , as it's just a pretty simple question and only requires a simple reply .

S.R and LR I was wondering the same thing so I went to AKC web site on the downloadable forms and pulled up a litter enrolment form http://www.akc.org/pdfs/literap.pdf check it out I cant find were you put the certificate issue date
then got to thinking I have always done them on line and as the owner of the Sire it does ask for the issue date when
you reg. a litter or you are the owner of a sire used as stud.

Wouldn't it suck if this whole thing was the result of a number transposed by AKC themselves when they keyed in the registration, and nobody caught it until now? Just sayin'.

Would we be having this conversation if this didn't involve patch hounds? I wonder. Surely, bad papers follow many other breeders around.

Nope, All I have to do is advertise them as "Republican" hounds, untrue to their heritage, and they'll sell in no time...'snort,snort,snort...

Well see, there you go. Take one of those foreign Democratic dogs with bad papers and it can become President. Who needs AKC, right? Image

I'll have to ask for a review by the Queen and get back to you on that one...

I did get an invite to a dinner, would you be available?

The CLINKARD MEON VALLEY BEAGLES

THE MEON HALL
MEONSTOKE
HANTS

Hummm, I guess not.
A bit of advice if you ever do go,...2 things you never ask a Master of Hounds about in "Jolly ole England", 1st, his/her Honor, 2ndly, his/her finance... ;)
Both are well intact...
