I had a great time seeing all my friends and shooting the breeze. Congrats to Matt and Kevin, Chad, and my brother from a different mother, Crabby.

Congrats to Mike, Chad, and Matt on their wins at the Grand Nationals. Three great houndsmen with three great dogs. I also would like to extend a "hats off" to Chip. He kept that field trial moving in the midst of so many dogs and all the protests. He kept his cool and his sense of humor throughout the weekend. Thanks Chip for a job well done and to the Greensburg Club that hosted the hunt.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, been a long time comin. Congrats to the WFO boys and Crabzilla, that's gonna be one sweet cover for the Rabbit Hunter, it could double as a post office poster as well. Great job Chip on running the hunt, you are the man! I'm still pickin briars out of my arms from judging!

I don't know if my heart could take all that stress in the finals like I experienced. Bunch of great guys I ran against in the finals, any one of those dogs could have won.

We were really worried about the running. I knew conditions were going to be bad. But I didn't know it was going to be as bad as it was. One thing we aren't short on and that's rabbits. If we would have had just a little rain before this hunt things would have been so much different. We would have had alot of judges wore out. We had casts that the rabbits were running over each other and the dogs wouldn't even make a bark on them. I know there was a few casts that didn't have any running, but i still blame that on the conditions.
I want to thank everyone that came, and for showing such good sportsmanship. I didn't run a dog, or judge, just seen the casts had spots to run and guided, but heard nothing negative the whole weekend. I didn't hear any arguing or anything. I'm sure there was some people not happy, and some that were upset. But for the whole things were handle great and seemed like everyone was happy. It made it much more enjoyable to put on the hunt when people act like adults and not 3rd graders.
Congrats to the winners, and Congrats to the dog that won the grand bench. Cant remember names or anything but that finished that dog to hall of fame i believe. Great acomplishment.
