SR I own snowball now,She has a cold nose or it could be the age,she will trail a rabbit and my other hounds won`t open, It will end up in a jump 5 out of 6 times then they take it away from her.She can`t run up with them but does not bother me at all. She is posted on my Patch post.

I do not know a thing about genitics and I think any thing as far back as Sport and Gunsmoke by now are so watered down it wouldn`t even factor in and I could be wrong. From what Rowdy told me it wouldn`t hurt to have some of that in our hounds now. All I know is I breed what I consider a rabbit hound to a rabbit hound and hope there get is better than they are.

I beleive the only person breeding Pure patch now would be Mike Capozi.I think when Willit died the Pure Patch line went with him. What I have now I condider full patch and will never be out crossed in my kennel.I am only trying to carry on a line I beleive in.

From the research I have done on the pedigree sites every thing we have and call Patch came through,Pearson Creek, Yellow Creek, Blue Cap, English All by way of Willit Randell.

Dave, stuff happens like that,Brody is one heck of a young hound.
My next question is,Why was Anderson Patch bred to more than Rattler? I have just traced my hounds only,Kojack is full of Anderson crosses.my other hounds don`t show a lot of Rattler, even though he was bred to a lot.

Chuck I wish you could breed Snowie to Dave's Hammer. I know how two of the litter turned out when they were bred before.. Might not happen again but I'd make a deposit on one of them if you did... As for all the talk about the amount of Sport blood in the dogs, well we can disproove any of that.. We know these dogs can't run around manure if you know what I meen.............LOL
