I wouldnt eat a rabbit this early in the year for nothing they after 3 hard frost is risky a rabbit has 27 types of worms that they get thru the summer Had a friend die in kansas from that

My hands full with 3rd generation pups took them for the 1st time 2 weeeks ago and they all run surprised the heck out of me 4 litter mates sisters grand daughters out of Larry Perrys stud burr oak burt 12-1/2-13 inch huntin machines with 15 in mouths

Not much got burned out gunning when i was a kid that like to shoot alot But now i focus more my hounds and pups

It dont start until Nov.1 here in ky. I cant wait , got my old dog max ready and i might buy a pup to work with. But joeyman i cant wait to RUN and GUN

2 more days here. Got my work cut out for me. Have a 1 yr old male that really came on last season that retrieves, that I want to really shoot over, and and older brother to him which is also coming along, they are both buckshot mr bill/branko crosses, and both have tremendous nose power, almost as much as my swiss hound. Also have another female pup I kept from last litter, her name is Kira, she born 7/10/10, and is buckshot mr bill/patch. We will see how she turns out , and will try to get her started when she is 4 months old. Plus have to run my older hounds, as my oldest is only 4 1/2 yrs old, and 2 need to shed some weight. Once Kira starts for me, will have to make a choice on selling one of my hounds, as I do not want to keep more than 6, so time will tell.They are all solid hounds, but time is very limiting on how many to keep, i will try to get some video footage on opening weekend, if weather holds should be doing some snowhsoe hare hunting near canadian border!!!!! CAN NOT WAITE!!!!!!!!!!
