heat cycle

is there any way to get a gyp in heat besides wait for her cycle or put her next to one that is already in,,,,,,,i have a female that was due in about a month and a half ago and id like to breed her before season comes in so i can still run her,,,,,,i know its probably a dumb question,,,,,,

I don't believe there is a way but if there were, I still wouldn't take a chance. Females heat cycles just have to be delt with when they come. If you don't want fall pups, breed her in the spring. With any luck, maybe she will come in soon for ya!
By the way, there is NO SUCH THING as a dumb question.

southern_beagles,,,,,,,i think i will but ,man the anticapation is to much,,,i have had 3 real bred males to breed her to and sold them all,,,,,,i just might sell her and find me a good bred younger female,,,,oh by the way thanks,,,lonewolf

I talked to my vet,and he said there is a shot that you can give them to make one come in heat,but he also said he didn't advise it. He said that it can cause a bad infection and also it can cause small litters like one or two pups.So I beleave I would just wait and let her come in on her own.
