Feeding while pregnant

How much more should u feed while a female is pregnant?

if she can handle it open feed her.

she'll start eating less closer to the 63day mark. my dog did. she didn't want to eat at feeding time.

Bwe007 I used to feed the bitches a lot while they were carrying and I got them fat and I had a lot of oproblems. Now I feed them a little extra and I run them hard while they are bred and I don't seem to have any problems.

I think Bobby has the right idea. They seem to birth easier if they are in shape. I think fedd them a normal ration, maybe a little more and run them like normal until about 5 or 6 weeks then put them up and slowly up thier feed by about a half cup to 3/4 cup until she whelps. I don't have a lot of experience but this advice was given to me and seems to work for everyone who has given me this advice.
