Geena's first trial

Took Geena to her first New York AKC SPO licensed trial yesterday. She is only 15 months old. I really wasn't going to put her in any trials. I don't like to put too much pressure on a young dog. But I decided to enter her just to get her acclimated to all the dogs and people. When I arrived at the trial I learned that there was going to be a big class of 37 little bitch's running with Geena. I know that at least a few of these hounds had wins and I know one for sure had 3 wins. I would have been happy if she just made it out of the first pack. Anyway she made it to the end of the trial and went head to head with an older bitch. She got a second place out of 37. What a great start for a great little dog.

congrats to you and geena. she has got to be a nice little hound,like you said there had to be alot of nice hounds entered. little bitch class is one of the toughest class out there.
