Front Legs Get Destroyed after a run (Update Pic 8-9-10)

my 2 cents----if ya want it to heal---stop running the dog,its only 1 year old so theres plenty of time for it to hunt upcoming.
when i have used sulfur based products it has taken up to 2 weeks for the stuff to clear,sometimes as little as 5 days.
seems when i have had the same stuff yours looks like it re-occured till the season changed,i beleive its dew poisoning and not mange,redness is from the dampness(bacteria/yeast growing).several suggested remedies already given will work, for whatever it is-but ya gotta stop running him/her till its cleared

i agree madcatter on laying him up. hard as it is to do I have no choice till the hair comes in thick again. I'll still do the treatments for good measure. Like ohlinger said I too believe its very early in its stages "if its mange related".

Good time of the year to lay one up when i run year around 4-6 days a week 365 days a year this time of the year i had more health problems than i did the rest of the year heat ticks fleas cough pulled nails ect

him getting laid up means I can focus on another one of my dogs so.........no worries. I hate it for him but what can i do.

If that is battle scars which thats what it looks like and i wanted to run him id pour it on him its no worse than thier ears being tore all to pieces mine looks twice as bad as that in the winter legs belly ears tails neck and face someone would think they had bad case of the mange But they sure look good right now all healed up and ready for fall

he is doing much better. it was not mange i had the vet check him when i got his rabies shot done a few weeks ago. i've limited his running to just 2hrs a week. I also did the fishoil pills i think they really shined him up some. his coat looks very nice. thanks
