And guys you can call out and run dogs with jimbo and spencer any time you want cause there a blast to hang out with but i wouldnt be placing any bets cause they both are packing the power and you might go home broke.

Dave how did you let yourself get in a debate with a legend, today is the first time I took a look at this topic. Lively I must say. I will only add that if you except Bluemouses invitation not only will you find out what kind of dogs you have, you will find out how tuff you are, its a hell-hole. Plenty of rabbits, great folks, super food, I have had a blast the last 3 years and am looking forward to this year but it is still one tuff place to hunt. Skidder ruts, water, briers over your head, vines out the wahzoo and all of it extremely plentiful.

Dave I hope you have some of those catfish fillets like last year again this year, that was some good eatin. James

What you talking about catfish, you got the best them was bream fillets, only the best for my friends. Hope yall doing good up that way. was catching some nice red breast the 4th of july weekend-------untill the snake got in the canoe with me------ somebody had to go----snake came out a willy tree, landed between my legs with no time to ID species---- Guess who got the boat for the next five minutes.

Dave I'd say the snake momentarily had the advantage and the boat. Yea I know some where bream and they where also good and I have to say your brother grills a nice piece of beef too, then again after fighting that place we where all ready for some fluids, food and rest.
Big Bing is already asking when were going down south this season, as hard as place is to hunt a good time with good folks, plenty of game with good dogs, and great food and memories that last forever, it don't get better than that.
All is well up my way just hot and dry. Tell everybody I said hi and as far as your potlickers go I'll hunt with them anytime, all good dogs and that Sis is as nice a dog as a man can want. James

I had to swing into work for a couple hours this morning but now I'm headed out the door to go get a couple of dogs and my Hemi pup, and my son to hit the briars for a couple of hours...........should be a good morning.

i just got in. dropped em on the ground 5:30am just got home 11am oclock. had some killer running. And I picked a giant tub full of blackberries

Got out late friday night, it was around 88 degrees at 11 pm. I hate sweat running from me no air stirring, pretty miserable time to be truthful about it. And too tell the truth running was pathetic. Its saturday 2.30 pm didnt cut hay chance of rain, been breeding mares to a jack. Hopefully get to do it all again tonight.
