the best check dogs

To be honest, I like to read these posts. It makes for a good laugh and you can learn some things. I have seen a few good check dogs in my years of trialing, but most are from North Carolina and Virginia. Many of you on here may not know them, but they are darn good rabbit dogs. Anthony Kerr's Rifle dog is as good as they come. He's older now and may have lost a step, but I'm sure when his days are over he will still be close by Anthony. I think some of these people that brag on their dogs, and put other peoples dogs down do it to intimidate other beaglers. Well, to make a long story short, the oldest dog I have in my kennel turned 2 years old in April, and I have two others that run pretty darn good also, and I ain't scared to run with any dog, any pack, or any person. And, I'm sure there are a lot of beaglers that are on this site that feel the same way. So, I say if you have to blow another person's candle out to make yours glow brighter you're at the wrong place.

You know i am really proud of my no good culls they laying around in the kennel happy as a lark waiting on a good friendly hunt Thats what it is all about Family-Friends and the outdoors they could careless if there is another dog better than them they just want to be in the action

I have met alot of good people from the forum, and enjoy the post, i found that alot of the fellas you think are arrogant aholes, are really good guys that just like to get a good razzing going in fun, makes it different when you know them and then some of the stuff they get going,lol...

He may be but as of right now he's got a loooooooong ways to go to prove it on here. Right now I'd put him in the category of that thread about "dog bragging". Anybody that's ignorant enough to feel they have to tell everyone else how good his dogs are while putting down someone else's ain't worth a broke you know what IMO. I'll tell him same as anyone else........you can come run dogs with me anytime you want as long as your coming to have fun but if your coming to prove something to me then stay home. There's more to it than winning and losing and for those of you who don't understand that...........you're really missing out.

And the best part is even after a bunch of guys jumping on him about it he probably still won't apologize..........probably can't because he can't see past his ego.

Joeyman, I wouldn't worry too much about it..........we all know who the are on here. Now if you'll all excuse me I'm gonna go give my second rate, rabbit hunting, beagler pleasin, no good potlickers some fresh water cause it's a steamy one up here today.

No Maple it wasn't a punch at you at all....I'm saying if he is a nice guy then he's not doing a very good job of showing his true colors right now........or maybe he is. Either way he outta aplogize again IMO.

It's ok, he's that guy at the party that everyone else is embarrassed for because he doesn't know enough to stop.
