In Memory of Harry Wilson
Harry Wilson the long time Field Trial Secretary and cornerstone White Water Valley Beagle Club passed away this morning after a short battle with cancer. I visited with him on Sunday at his home. We had a great visit, I'm glad I made the trip. Harry was at peace and knew God had a place for him.
Harry and White Water hosted the MidWest Beagle Gundog Championship Runoff for several years before we moved it a few years ago. I have a lot of great memories at his club. I and all of the Mid West members will certainly miss him. I know as others have told me the past few days it just won't seem right without Harry at White Water. We started out as competitor's in trialing and ended up being friends and one that I will never forget. He worked hard to put on a good trial.

Harry was a great man and beagler and always worked hard to put on a good field trail. He'll be missed by all.

Re: In Memory of Harry Wilson
I and I'm sure many other beaglers are devastated by this news. Harry is a legend when it comes to the Mid-West beagling family. It will never be the same going to White Water Indiana'a field trial & not seeing the friendly greeting of Harry Wilson. He was a great man & a pleasure to be around. He was blessed with several great beagles & I'm glad I got to enjoy the sport of beagling with Harry even if it was only a couple times a year. Everyone will miss you Harry. Goodbye. Greg Wells

Greg,
I agree, Harry was a great man and good friend. He left us way to young, 65. Would have loved to had him around for many more years to share his stories, good times and friendship. I am just glad he wasn't in pain and suffering.
The viewing will be at 9:00 AM Friday and the funeral will be at 11:00 AM at a Everton Southern Baptist Church, 3642 Rt. 1 Everton, IN.

Sad to hear for sure....prayers to his family and all that are hurting. Harry was a pleasure to be around and a great asset to not only Whitewater BC but to the entire beagling community. It is going to be hard to go to WW and not think about how much effort he put into that club and the trials....he will be missed by all.

Re: In Memory of Harry Wilson
Harry will be dearly missed by all his friends and fellow beaglers. Prayers go out to his wife and family. Indeed White Water just want be the same anymore, but with time things will go on. I know Harry is smiling down upon us and enjoying himself with his dogs that pass before him. Rest in peace old friend...

Jamie,
You are right things will go on! Harry ask me to do a couple of things for him on Sunday and that was one of them. There are a lot of good people in that area that will step up and make Harry proud. He loved the sport!

I had to set back and take a little bit before I could write this. Every time I feed Wilson's Misty Talylor and her offspring or The blood of Kingwood Shorty and Kingwood Bounty, that we both still have in our Kennel's, I will think of you old friend. In those early years when we were President of our clubs, Albion and White Water the Friednship and support you showed will be remembered. I look on those days with great fondness and look to the future. As Roy and Greg said so well and all the others. Rest in Peace ole Buddy you will be missed, your love of the hounds lives on in the Mid West! Our thoughts and Prayers will be for your family in the days to come. Don LeCount
