coughing dog???

I have a little tri color that is coughing her head off like her collar maybe too tight or something,I get to checking and the neighbors dog is also doing it but they are doing it only during the heat of the day,Whats wrong?? they are trying to toss up what ever it is thats causing this.

very catchy too....keep dog rested and quiet, away from anyother dogs or people who have dogs. Its like a broncidus (spelled wrong) Do not run the dog for 3 to 4 weeks. Exercise will bring it on fast. Get a vaccine for your dogs from now on so it dont happen in the future.

They all have had the 8 way shots,but I dont know if it was included.

it is not covered in a 8-way shot. It comes in the form of a nasal spray. If it is a pup that has it i would call your vet asap. Im not sure how dangerous it can be in a pup. A healthy older dog will be fine with rest...get the spay for the future. I give it once a yr twice if im trialing.

We give a bordatella shot twice a year that is suppose to be a prevetative measure...bout 8 dollars a shot
