Up to you guys what you do with your hounds but be aware that dosing with insecticides can be a bit dicey. Remember its not just the chemical being the same or working ,its the strength or amount of the insecticide you end up putting on your dogs.

Frontline makes a SPRAY for DOGS. It is A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER than the little frontline vials you place on the dogs back. There is no guessing about how much to put on a dog you just mist the dog per the directions. They sell it on Thomas Vets. All I do is place a rag over the hounds eyes and mouth and mist them. Lasts a month just like regular frontline and works just like regular frontline at a fraction of the cost!!!!! Check it out.

You mist him with the spray once a month just like the frontline tubes you spread on the hounds back. Just give it a chance to dry before taking them into the field.

This is how I treat my dogs. I have 2 Labs and 5 beagles. So I buy large size and put 1 each on the labs, then split 1 tube per 3 beagles. I also treat MIL dogs at the same time, so it works out for 2 packets

May 1st 2010

I just treated my dogs. I put .7cc per dog. I did 4 dogs. Only dog I didn't do is Leah cause she has pups under her now. So I'm not sure if its ok. So I didn't apply it on her. I've got roughly .7cc left in the little packet.

So One of the packets can treat 5 dogs if you use .7cc per dog.

We'll see how it works out.
