AKC does it again!

Hey Jacob, What a snobbish attitude!!

I'll run my PP Gr Rch against anything you have in your kennels. We will run any where at any time of the day until l the dogs quit . He doesn't need a tallyho stick to get his rabbit going. I run rabbit dogs, and I've been rabbit hunting since I was 13 years old. I've yet to see a rabbit stop and ask to see the papers of the dog . BTW he is also AKC. AKC is all about the money that is why we keep seeing these price increases.!

All's well that ends well. I called AKC this morning and was fortunate to speak to a representative with no waiting. They seemed shocked that two sets of papers could have been issued on the same dog with different numbers a whole year apart. After some conference calls were made and the situation explained again it was finally resolved and agreed that one set of papers would be destroyed and deleted from their files and additionally (to my great surprise) they were going to refund my $50!!!! I have been quick to criticize AKC for these too-frequent foulups, but just the same I will now give them credit for a quick, reasonable and equitable resolution to the problem. Maybe their service is finally catching up with their fees. By the same token, I do have two litters coming that were sired by this dog so my fingers will remain crossed for a while yet.

Well, above poster, I always thought you were one of the more knowledgeable people on the board but that last post was just plain stupid!

Nothing AKC does surprises me anymore.

I have one thats even better tha that .I bred my female to Turbo and sent in the litter registration and when I got them back I looked at the sire and it said FC DON HOOG was the sire.Naturaly I went back to Don and demanded my money back ,I told him I wanted to breed to Turbo not him then I showed him the papers and we both just laughed and he even took a copy to put in our clubhouse over at great miami beagle club with a sign that reads This Man can do it all ! Anyhow Don called Akc and they said they would send another set of papers and when I got them they were the same way ,it wasnt funny that time but on the 3rd try they got it right.
Sometimes you would think they just started the AKC

i bought a female out of virginia and her papers were filled out in his name so i called akc to see what i needed to do,,,they told me i needed to send a supplamental form to the guy i bought her off of and have him sign it,,so i did,,,,ok i filled out the supplamental form with my name address and the new name of the dog,,,,,,,,guess what,,,,,,,,,they put the papers in his name any way and sent the d_mn things to him so i hope he is happy i paid for his registration on a dog he doesnt own,,,,,,,,
