This is not meant to bash any other supply stores just wanting to hear who everyone uses and why. My favorite would definitely be Bill Boatman's out of Greenfield Ohio. They have been around for about 60 years or so now. They have everything for beagles, coonhounds, bird dogs you name it. Prices are good. Their "Tuff" collars last for years and I run in some of the thickest briar patches in Ohio. Your oders are normally shipped and received typically in a day.Check em out at billboatmans.biz

I can't remember the name of his shop but it's Herb that visits alot of the field trials in the Northeast and sets up a stand, he's got great prices on collars,leads, meds, and pretty much anything you need for beagles. I'm not sure if anyone on the board knows his company name or not, it's the Herb that's from Massachusetts.

James Golden "Golden Acres"............he's a member on here, a trialer and from what I understand from the guys that know him well he's a true beagler and near as I can tell just an all around good guy. He can't get you everything but being a local guy I buy whatever I can from him................he may be more of a beagler supply guy than a kennel supply guy I guess.

I use J W Kennels. Jim Wale is a great guy and he only lives about 5 miles from me and he usually has whatever I need in stock. Great guy he also has coondogs and birddogs and will ship and can have custom boxes made and shipped to your door. He also has a deer pen and can break a dog for you and a training pen for beagles and will do limited training of coon and bird dogs, oh and did I mention he is a great guy!

big mike your right jim wale is a good guy he does a lot to help with dog hunters rights here in michigan too. i have dealt with him a couple times, bought a coon hound from him and took a beagle pup to his pen he did a great job with him.

Yeah that Bluetick is the only one in the world with the titles he has, if I was into coonhounds he would be the one to take a female to. Jim is always on the road to Lansing to help lobby for hunters rights with dogs in Michigan.

Also Buttermilk creek outfitters in Burlington,NC my buddy from college open a little over a year ago and is doing awesome. They have a 40 acre pen out back with rabbits and coons in it the store is a great place. Used guns, basically anything for hunting and fishing.

Good point. My dad and I have bought a lot of things from Chip--fence, shock collars, tracking system, Garmin and collars, medicine--and he has always treated us right. His customer service is hard to beat, too. I would recommend Chip for anything you need.
