This is my foundation, I will also be adding a Logan Elm Mr. Willie female (goes back to old Branko and Sock it to Me) and a Striker X Ninja female. I have my litters planned for the next 15 to 20 years. It takes a long time to get what you want and I have been running hounds for over 20 years now and just starting to get what I want. I dont breed for anyone but myself and have only had 5 or 6 litters in the past 20 years but one thing is for sure you better watch out for B.O.B.B.'s line of hounds in the next couple of years in the trial world.

We have used a few dogs in our breeding program, and have added and deleted some over the last few years. Right now it seems that we've found everything we were looking for, and they all go back to GRCH HBCH Fire River Michael and IFC Melanson's Ranger Dan. They have the looks and the ability to get it done in the field. I also keep IFC Banko's Cassanova, and IFC Trakarab Pacesetter bred hounds. I will always keep Pacesetter hounds. Another thing I like about these Michael/Dan bred dogs is that they're real easy on the eyes. Check out our website to see our foundation hounds and what we have out of them.

Hey Jeremy
We really like what The Dry Creek Crew is producing! I also like The foundation of your kennel, I am looking forward to mixing Coalminers ability with some of our mix of Michael's blood. Let me know when you all have Gina bred, I'd like to get with you on that one!
I agree with you theres nothing like a good looking Beagle that can flat burn up a rabbit!

I'll be sure to let ya know what Matt and Kyle decide to breed Gina to. Coal is a really nice hound, he's the most well rounded hound I've ever been to the woods with. He's a once in a lifetime kinda hound. We've got some nice up and coming hounds as well. I know I'm really excited about my Nikki females, as she shows great potential to be a top hound in the field and also has the looks and comformation to win on the bench. I believe we've made some very good crosses and have some very good crosses planned. I guess time will tell. You going to UKC HB Nationals in April? It would be great to meet up with you.

Hey Jeremy
I usually am face first into Turkeys during April, but I'm gonna try to make it this year, whether I bring a dog or not. My top females are nursing pups, and I got a young female out of Chip thats built great, and running good, but I still have trouble getting her to pack with different dogs. She gets intimidated easy! So its doubtful I will bring a dog, unless theres another World Qualifer I could bring our Tuff/Tess male before then? Either way I'm gonna try to make it, and look you up!
Nikki looks like she has some wheels with those long legs.... Those Tuff E Nuff dogs can Motor for sure...

Dexter,
I thought you died! Been trying to call you for about three weeks now. I thought thats who that was but I didn't want to look like a fool and guess wrong. I think I remember you telling me that the last time I was down at your place. Anyways how are those puppy papers coming along? Do you need me to send you some stamps in the mail?

That "grade dog" of mine (Black Magic X Colleen) looks like he might work out enough for me to give him a chance to get run throughout the summer. He holds his mouth just right only barking when he has it and runs a REALLY smooth line. The only thing I see at this point is that he wants to control it to much and that drops his foot speed way down. He's close and clean in the check area and on the line. I'm sure with some rabbit tracks his foot will pick up and he'll be just fine. His hunt..... Well it's there and then some! Love that part about him!!!!!! Anyways glad to see that you're still alive. Let me know about all those pupppy papers. Thanks,
Elliott

At one time I would have said it was Spicers Blueback, but ever since Dutch has proved himself all my pups and most of the hounds I own are directly of him. The main thing is that Dutch is a great hunting dog. He has all day stamina and hunts as hard the last hour of the day as he did the first hour. One old timer gave him the best compliment I ever heard: "Boy that dog hunts angry"

He is one of those dogs that does it all and does it right. When Dutch ran he ran the line, he never needed to cut to get the lead and he always hunted like a demon. There are dogs that can get the front briefly in Big Pack by cutting but to command the front end like Dutch could in his day by running the line was impressive. He was a very tight mouth hound and the fact that he championed out easily in Little Pack was because of the speed he ran the line and his hunt and jump ability. But you dont have to take my word about Dutch as he was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.

But if I said one thing about Dutch its that I could kill more rabbits over him alone than most packs I've seen. He is a top of the line gundog. Here are a couple of Pictures:

Here he is after winning the Big Pack World in the Open Class:

Thanks for the compliment...Dutch appreciates it.

Its great to have such a long history with your hounds so long that it is now generational. Keep breeding those field champions yorkmt too many breed willy nilly, sounds like your family are serious and selective about improving the breed. :hammer:
