did the jobs lazer beam break.we were supposed to be focused like a lazer beam.im so sick of hearing about healt care.what it going to take for them to realize most people dont care about health care they want jobs and to get the economy going.

you are dead on. we want jobs!

i have been laid off for over a year now. i was an apprentice electrician and am getting close to getting my years in. if i was not laid off i would have my journeyman card by now. i worked mainly commercial hazardous location jobs such as gas stations so we did not even rely on the houses being built. i will tell you the truth, i am getting worried. now i am sending applications to schwanns ice cream and hersheys and the local car dealer but i dont have enough sales experience. i am hoping to hear about a possible job with a road crew but they dont even know if they are going to be hiring yet. i havent seen an electrician apprentice wanted ad in years. depending on how the job situation goes in the next couple months or so i have even been kicking around going to school to learn how to cut hair

big change is going on in our country especially in this state. luckily i am young enough to try to adapt but i feel real bad for the older ones who are laid off after 25 years or so of the same job

Change is not always good.

I fear it is going to get worse, people have moved away from GOD, FAMILY AND COUNTRY to GREED, JEALOUSY AND GLOBALIZATION.

Our leaders are not interested in the people or the country only POWER. Its a sad time!!

If the dems past health care it will get worse, employers will not hire base on the fact they will have to provide health care to workers, the dems math do not add up in a recession. How much more can they expect to put on the American people with their proggressive bull crap. small business can not afford this at this time.

Dave PMB is partially right because individuals and buisnesses don't have to carry insurance if they opt for the fine. The catch is the fine is only equal to about 1 month of the yearly premium which means buisnesses and healthy individuals can save 11 months of premiums by paying the fines. That would surely help buisnesses but for people who need insurance for meds and illnesses will be in trouble. I checked today to see how much of my insurance premium my company is paying and its about 80% annually so my premiums would be 5 times more monthly than what it is today if my company dropped my insurance.

james I think you answered the question for me, Why would employers want to pay a fine and opt out of the program because the goverment has force this crap down the throats of the American people. Most are just not going to hire peroid . pinenut you need to shut up adults are talking. Go ahead and take this health care bit to the bank, then you can use our tax money for free abortions and all the other pork built into this bill. Oh bo stood in front of all america and stated all americans can have the same health care as me and congress have ( Joe said it best " you lie") Health care will not pass because its to full of the progressive bullcrap ole bo is pushing , some of his party knows this and will vote no. if they vote yes its the highway and kicking the can for them. Big business has no problem paying these fines, its the small employers with less than twenty employees that will not hire, so how many small business fall into this slot more than you think.

Pinenut first off you are one of the most shallow thinking people I have come in contact with in a long time. for your information pinenut I pay my own health insurance also went to doc this moring got a bottle of meds that cost me a whopping 161.62. So do not cry this rep bull crap about not wanting health care bull crap. We need health care reform to watch procedures of insurance company and drug producers. What this country does not need is for health care paying for abortions and paying for people who would not work in a pie factory tasting pies for a living. I suggest you go to a corner and stand on your head and let you brains settle back in place, while you are at it extend both your hands out in front of yourself and wish in one hand and let ole bo fill the other with his bullcrap and seen which one fills up the fastes. then call chief for a hug and sing kum ba ya

Let me make something clear to you PMB, I am NOT one of the lucky people who is pain free. I have been on arthritis medication since I was 34 years old, almost 13 years and ghout medication for last 6 years, even with the meds some days I hurt so bad I can't hardly stand myself but I keep getting up going to work so I don't want to hear the whining. Talk about pathetic. I am well aware there are people in worse shape than me but when I see people driving BMW'S and paying for groceries with food stamps or hunting and fishing just like they want to and claiming disability or having baby after baby off of me every other working person you DAM-N RIGHT IT PISSES ME OFF. I FEEL THE PAIN PHYSICALLY AND IN MY PAYCHECK.

I AM BEING OPPRESSED ENOUGH ALREADY FOR THE PEOPLE ON THE GOVERNMENT TEAT.

Rufus, I am truly sorry that you have trouble with your insurance company....but HEALTHCARE REFORM will NOT help you....HEALTH CARE COVERAGE REFORM will...Huge difference. If you were able to buy across state lines, if you were ALLOWED to shop around for the best coverage then the insurance companies would HAVE to reduce rates and bargain with customers...but THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT ALLOW THEM TO. The same GOVERNMENT YOU TRUST TO FIX THINGS are the ones who perpetuate the problem....geesh, can you be that dense?

Oh, and one more thing...with the serious regrets I have for ANYONE who has a medical condition, it STILL ISN'T MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR YOUR OR ANYONE ELSE'S HEALTH CARE COVERAGE....they take enough from my checks already....

Pine mt. you really don't get it, this isn't a republican/democrat fight. This is the democrats trying to force something on the people that the majority don't want. This fight is in the democrat party and against the majority of americans. This constant bashing of the republicans makes you as much out of touch as this administration, trying to transfer failure to someone else only magnifies the sheer weakness of this administration.

They should be focused on jobs, jobs, jobs and did I say jobs instead of this take over of the healthcare system.
