Pup starting/hound conditioning

Post by Red Briar Kennels »

We will start your young pup, or condition your running hound. We use "real time" techniques. Our kennels are concrete, clean, roofed, and secure. We are not a large commercial facility, therefore allowing optimum time in the field. We take only limited amount of hounds at one time to insure a quality training schedule. We keep training logs on all hounds in training and we provide a "progress report" weekly to keep dog owners abreast of what their hound is doing in the field. We charge 35.00 per week. For more info on our services and a little more about us, you can check us out on the web at http://www.redbriarkennels.com . Or feel free to call at (419) 207-9069, we would be glad to speak with you.

I appreciate all of the response, and we have had the opportunity to work with some very fine up and coming hounds. We have unexpectedly had an opening in June with no ending date as of yet. Feel free to call or email if interested in getting your dog started or conditioned. Let us bring out the hunt in your hound.

Folks have been calling and wondering when we resume training again in 2005, so I thought I would post on here also. We will be officially accepting hounds again beginning the first of March. Our training schedule runs for 8 months. March thru October due to us guiding rabbit hunts through Ohio's normal rabbit hunting season, November - February. Thanks again to all who have used our services, it's been a privledge to work with these hounds and their owners.

Yes, to all the folks that have called or pm'd us. We are currently booking runs for training. All it takes is a call and a deposit to reserve a run. However, it is on a first come first serve basis. We are anticipating a very productive training season and look forward to working with your hounds. For any questions, comments, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

We are going to have a couple of openings around Aug. and Sept. If you would be interested in using us, please send an email or give us a call. Openings go quick as we are not a large operation. However, a few of you asked about expanding our kennel. Due to an over whelming response, we've decided to double or kennel this year as to be ready for spring 2006. Believe it or not, we have folks already asking about next season and booking runs for the '06 training season. Hopefully we will be able to accomodate a few more people as kennel space has always been a problem. We have more time than we have room for. This should help alleviate some of the problem. Again, we really appreciate your business and look forward to working with new owners in the future. Should you have any questions, always feel free to give us a call.
