Just started feeding Diamond Naturals Chicken & Rice. I feed 1 3/4 - 2 cups in winter and 1 1/2 - 1 cups in the summer. My dogs are small 13 inch, about 20 lbs. I have an old female 15" that goes about 30lbs, I feed her a little more.
I live back in the woods you see, my woman and the kids and the dogs and me.

Diamond Adult Premium (Green/Yellow bag) 2 cups three seasons. 2 1/2 cups winter. Always fed Purina Proplan, great food, cost just keeps going higher. Dogs are doing as well on the Diamond & its a whole lot cheaper.

Doesn't that make it 2 cups???

Reckon it depends on cup size.I have been known to cut the top outta of coors lite and give em 2 can fulls.eiether way dog food is higher than giraffe pu--y so i gotta feed em lite.ya know the rest of the story. I know of a fella that feeds his dogs only twinkies at the hunts, never did figure that one out but its the truth, seen it with my own specs. I also feed lots of collard greens w/food when the time is right, it helps bring back soreness.

I thought you meant it was a 16 oz cup which would make it 2 cups..........that's why I asked. What was the 16 oz referring to.

Oh yeah, and please pass the Coors Lite!! :D

A cup = 8 oz. A regular soup can is 10 oz = 1 1/4 cup. I put my feed in a bucket to carry to the kennel. I measure the feed with the soup can to each dog. Just eyeball for more or less.

I've tried just about everything for food. Sportmix 26/18 right now, 1.5-2 cups depending on how cold it is right now since we haven't ran in about 3 weeks do to snow close to your waist. I am in the process of switching to Southern States, they reformulated and if you look at the ingredients, they are just as good as Sportmix and Purina One which I've also fed and it's $16.49 a bag for 26/18 and $15.49 for 24/20, 40 pound bags. Got some chicken necks and backs to throw in at times also. 40lbs for $14 which is a little high from a wholesaler.

Good discussion and good info here.
I used to use Nutramax but now I buy Kirkland at Costco because its ingrediants look pretty good and the price is much better (about 55 cents/lb). I try to stay away from grains like corn and wheat, but keep the price reasonable. I feed my dogs 1 cup of this 2X per day depending on how much I am running them, but they live inside, and one of them can put on weight if I am not carefull. I found this website with alot of good info and a comparison of dog foods.

In looking at this I found out that Kirkland brand is made by Diamond.

Just started feeding 4 Health performance, 1.5 cups a day. The dogs love it so far, I don't know how well they'll do on it but time will tell.

I saw the 4 health, was told Diamond makes it. It is a fairly decent price why TSC has it on sale.
