I bred the tightest line bred jigs female there is around to reggie and showtime. the reggie pups are doing outstanding and the showtime pups are the last litter showtime produced, they are only 12 weeks old now

Thanks thornie, Hopefully I can take you up on that someday.
Thanks guys for the input. What I have heard from you about Jigs and what he passed on it pretty much nails Slide, my dog. He is pretty laid back and if he has a flaw its that he is not competitive but thats not a flaw in my book. I have seen him clean up competitive brag dogs. I have described him as not a power dog that you can brag on but just a steady rabbit dog that does his job the same every time out and never embaresses himself. He has a very good nose, is super laid back in the kennel, uses his mouth right to the point of being tight, can sit in the kennel for weeks and unfortunately months but run a rabbit without missing a beat. I have seen him run accurately full out with his head up and he has been the last dog down in tough snow, walking the track.I am trying to find the right linebred female to breed him to because at the end of the day, I own him and I know what he can do and I like it. Finding that right female is the tough part though!

I've always admired the Adirondack Bobby dog's reputation. I think Branko's Copper Boy dam was by Bobby & as Shady Grove stated Jig's dam was Close Call Girl ( Dingus X Anna's Ann).
yes jigs is the grand sire to Argenteiul Striker.

Arlie,
I could not believe that Jigs was born in 1981. I knew that Zac was most likely the last grandson breeding but that is a long way back.

Brad,
I know you really like your Zac pup. I knew Trump was gone but I know where there is one other Jigs male that would match great with your Zac pup or the other females you have.. Give me a call and I will tell you about him...

The Armando's Trump Tight male is holding a high inbreeding coefficient of around 37.500 percent for The Elm's Jiggs Maggies Mate.My old Kingwood's T Rex male held that same percentage of Jigg's.I sold a male years ago to Andy Brewer and he is around 25 percent.Jigg's was one of 4 dogs that i also kept in my breedings.I've also had some that was a little to tight with thier mouth.Wayne Gross
I've had to edit my post some.Like Hard On The Check stated ,Armando's Thrump Tight is Around 8 percent coefficent overall.

Don't want to change the subject because I am very interested in Elms Jigs Maggies Mate. When ROWCO changed over to all AKC beagles we used Indian Hills Bobby Mcgee as our foundation male and we have not regretted it. That said, would you briefly explain to me how you calculate the inbreeding coefficient. If you want to pm me so we can stay on subject here. ROWCO (BOBBY)
