Rose City Cash???

Re: Rose City Cash???
i believe it was 2 years ago, i watched cash dominate the competition. He was competing in arha, champion class, in southwest michigan. It seemed like he won snow or sod. Cash won on a Saturday, in feburary, on snow( he may have granded that day).. the next day on sunday, dave brought him to our AKC LP snow trial on hare, in northern michigan , at stitsville beagle club . It was a cold day, with deep snow. cash finished 2nd, competing against, over 30, of the best big males in the Northern Mi. Hare Asc...if i am not mistaken, Cash has also placed in AKC , SPO.. Cash is a very versitle hound, that can compete at the highest level, in various formats...

Cash is a nice hound. He can absolutely smoke a rabbit. I intend on breeding to him this year.
Dry Creek Kennel-Bred to get it done where it counts the most "under the gun".

Re: Rose City Cash???
dave g, I know Dave Falsetta but I hanen't talked to him in couple of years. He doesn't live too far from me. He bought a female from me several years ago . her name was Honey but I don't know if he still has her or not. I don't think she was really his style of hound. He does have nice hounds though.

Re: Rose City Cash???
I am planning on breeding to Cash sometime early next month. My female is complete duplicate of him as far as build and looks go and runs a pretty fair hare. The breeding will be a line breed on Magnum, Pacesetter, and Muskie Lake- Magnum is the grand sire on both sides and Pacestter is a great grandsire on both sides with heavy Muskie Lake stuff rounding it out. Bunnyblaster: Cash is as he has been described by the others on this post. I would also like to add that he is very consistent meaning that when he is dropped down I can count on him finding and running a rabbit with with speed that varies from walking a line out to absolutely burning up the track and he does this with accurracy that is best described as uncanny. I am not sure how he does I only know that he does. He can do it in a pack or by himself as he needs no help with any of the process, from finding and juming to running it for as long as they will stay up. I have on many occasion had to wait for the rabbit to cross go stand on the line and wait for him to come before I would collect him to go home. I am sure there are better out there, I have yet to see one that I would rather have. I think he can run as good on snow as he does on sod on fresh snow he may run better as he uses his sight to follow the track and will dip his nose on occasion to check the track on a fullout drive. He is fun dog to watch and is proving to be a good sire as he has one litter that has been trialed with very good results from that litter. Time will tell as he has a few litters on the ground that are 5 to 6 months old. His pups are starting early and showing good promise at a young age. Cash was exceptional at a young age himself as he had 95 points and a win at 11 months old. Let me also say that I will not trial a hound until 2 years of age and they are broke on off game, but he was doing such a nice job that I gave him a try at 10 months old he took a 3rd on snow with over 30 entries then a second at ten months and his win at 11 months. I took him to his first akc spo licensed trial at 12 months old with 53 big males he took an nbq I was pleased with that. He is a nice hound and deserves some recognition I hope that his pups carry on and do well for there owners and I want to thank everyone that has given cash a chance in their breeding program. I believe he will add brains, nose, hunt and foot to his off spring. Bunnyblaster I thank you for your inquiry and hope you find what you are looking for if you have any questions pm me and I will get you my number.

bunnyblaster: I also kept a female from the litter she does not wind sent like the male but hunts hard and will dig the rabbits from under the brush until they are jumped. I don't think the others have been exposed to rabbits yet.

Re: Rose City Cash???
Sorry for the late reply fellas, I just got back from a week long vacation with the wife.
Thanks for the info on Cash since like I said before I know very little about him and was curious. This pup is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen since I started beagling a few years back. Time will tell how she turns out but as of now she just blows my mind.
I enjoyed my vacation but I'd be lying if I said I didn't spend some time thinking of getting home and working with my dogs.
