He's not slingin mud i was there also and the man said it was a first registration and had to be measured..he got the stand out of his truck then seen the dog and said it aint over so we asked if he could measure it anyway and he said no its a waste of time.
it was by far the worst trial i have ever seen...not saying they are all that way but it sure turned me away from going to another one.

Les,I agree with Mike its not fair to sling mud over 1 hunt.
I've been to several different formats and registrys and none are perfect,,But just because I didn't like the rules or my dogs didn't fit the format.
I don't get on here hate'n.
i ain't bashing anybody's club there haven't been any names dropped but if your going to run a hunt you need to try and abide by the rules no matter what format.
sorry for any hurt feelings.

No hurt feelings here just making a statement.
It wasn't my club you attended.

Just remember it takes alot of work putting these hunts on in any format, and most of the time it's only 1 or 2 club members doing all the work.

Just keep an open mind and go to have fun.

Saving time. It sounds like, I bet if it was close to 15 inches he would have dropped the hammer and measured, but since under 15 is the rule no need to waste time at the hunt, jmho. Paul W Abell

I Can Agree With this unless an OFFICIAL measurement is needed Which to My knowledge ARHA Does not do its Either Over or under. if YOU wanted the Dog measured for your own benefit then usually all you need to do is Ask and Someone at the Club Would have taken the time to do it for ya..DID you ASK?
From Field to Show and Show to Field the way it should be
