Satuday 1/23 hunt

Post by IndyBeagler »

I know most all of you guys here run the faster hounds but I thought I would share a short video of 1 of our runs that we had on 1-23-10, The day wasnt the greatest, most of the rabbits went straight to the hole and its starting to be the time of the year that they are getting scarce. All in all I still had a great time and getting this first video of my hounds made it all worth while for me. The video cam we used dont have the greatest mic on it so you might have to turn up the volume a bit.You can see My 2 hounds "Buddy & Mack" and their pedigrees on my web site @ http://www.wildsbeagles.web.officelive.com Thanks for looking!

I always say run what you like! Nice hounds! Looks like you guys should be able to kill a bunch of bunnies over those hounds!

Thanks Jim, this style is definately what I like, both of these young males of mine were trade hounds since they were weeks old and no one ever put any time into them. I got both of them in September as lightly started hounds but Im not so sure they were even that. I have invested the time and it is definatly paying off for me!

You are 100% correct rabbitsmoker, they are definately what I like and I wouldnt trade em for anything! Im just glad to see my work with these 2 is paying off.

Bluebeagle, thank you for your comments on the dogs and video, it is much appreciated! BTW, I will never let Pastor Brad hear the end of putting his gloves on to handle the dead rabbit!

Hey Monte, thanks for the comment! Do you want to try and get out b4 season is over? I just scored a 200 acre private property about an hour and 45 min west of me! Dont know what the rabbit situation is like but the owner says they are there. I know a couple of state properties we could hit as well. JohnS tried getting in touch with you last Monday to see if you wanted to go with us on tuesday but he got no reply from you. If ya want to get out just get in touch with me! :D

we normally dont do anything for each other for xmas, bday, ann. etc.,but this year she got me all kinds of goodies for xmas,a card for the bday and threw in a reminder that 25 years was around the corner  think shes wanting something but all i can think to get her is a trip to the U.P. :approve:

my only concern now is how to tell her we gotta take the hounds and charles :eyes: :blackeye: :blackeye:

Thanks for the compliment york, these hounds are actually UBGF style of hound and compared to majority of hound here on this forum they would be considered slow. I myself have never trial and dont know anything about it but however I am interested in the two couple pack you are talking about. Do you run in those?
