lol...I'm no legend just the average rabbit hunter out to have a great time with friends. I'd just like for you to get into alot of rabbits and have a great time hunting. No need to drive that far for cottontails. There is a good rabbit population here in NC . Many local deer club member's like to rabbit hunt also. They welcome guys with dogs and would love to join in on the rabbit hunts. They have access to lots of land. We hunt on several deer club leases and have had very good luck this year. We hunted a deer club in Speed, NC this past weekend and took 15 rabbits

Hare hunting is a different story . Make the Drive... it's worth it.

I do not seem to have no problem as well we killed 9 with three people this past weekend. Plenty of rabbits in NC. I love the DEER leases / W a invite. Have BROKE dogs will travel.

My problem is that I have a hard time meeting people with leases.When I do I always let them know of my dogs and rabbit hunting but they never invite me to come rabbit hunting.
The public land around here is all shot up and I have found very few rabbits on Butner, Harris, or Jordan gamelands.
Out of all of my friends, it seems I am the only one putting an effort into finding spots and organizing the hunts. All they want to do is deer hunt and when rabbit season gets here, they are hard to get up with!
Anyway, maybe I just need to get some balls and ask these farmers for permission. The few I asked told me no, but I guess its just like asking a woman on a date. Eventually one will say yes!
As far as driving out to Missouri to go rabbit hunting, I enjoy taking trips to different areas and enjoy meeting fellow beaglers! A trip like that would be a memory of a lifetime!

Nothin wrong with that I a not scared of the stiring wheel either. I like seeing the country side as well.

Hey Joey as usual you had a great hunt with great pics. I wish I could get in on some of that MO bunny hunting. Keep up the good work I enjoy all of the pics and videos.
