Currently this line of dogs are producing very well. From what I have seen myself good speed lots of desire and alot of nice rabbit dogs from this line. I think it is Adam Seger who owns IFC Green Bay Shooter. He also has brothers Oconto River Little Shooter in Wisconsin was at stud a couple of years back they were both out of Better Beaglings top producing sire and dams. There are several studs out there out of Ranger Dan himself. I would start asking around maybe on the UKC message board and other beagle forums.

I have a male who's grandfather is ranger dan. You can't beat the hunt/desire out of this bloodline and he's got a solid nose. Living here in Michigan most of the winter the conditions are poor and, he is always the one that finds the rabbit when most other dogs can't. As for speed, he's not very flashy, he runs mid pack most of the time, but does get his share of check. Where he shines is jumping a rabbit and keeping it going when things break down. From my knowledge of ranger dan, you can expect hard hunt and nose and a dog that is just a real grubber.

There is a son of Ranger Dan, FC Honey Hollow Elvis in New York. I believe his owner is Al Slocum in Castle Creek, New York. The guy, deer host, a regular member to the board, has bred to him and has some pups that he is working with.

Green Bay Shooter. Seen him run a few times. He has enough foot at 8 years old to keep up with the younger hounds, I heard from other beaglers and the owner that Shooter had plenty of speed when he was younger. His desire is unmatched. He will hunt the thick stuff. He has tons of line control. He'll make real crazy dogs look foolish. His nose and intelligence is top shelf.

There are a bunch of Ranger Dan blood on this board. Eddy Williams has a hound by the name of big Tuna. Heard lots of good things about him. Heard he has tons of hunt and plenty of stamina, with the Ranger Dan nose. Tuna's sire Eyers Geno is also ranger d blood. If Tuna has all that nice characteristics of a Ranger Dan hound, just think what his daddy has.

I have some Ranger dan blood and will have more. Super solid gundogs. Plenty of all the categories. If one area that is not as flashy as some is speed, but they aint
slow. Tuna throws some nice ones! Also a FC in Virginia, the northern part. Not sure of his name.

I know Dan blood is not known for break away speed but my Tuna dog can roll .His sires dam is Fc FUR QUEEN MANDY who is directly out of IFC ROUND POND MR T.He is Branko bred on the bottom .I have seen Tuna run a rabbit over a frozen finger lake other dogs didnt know existed .I like the blood line and I have one of the reproducers like Geno and Ranger Dan I feel fortunate.I have a female out of Geno also that shows the same qualities .
