Does anyone actually know??? I always did it cause that's the way I was taught. The salt does seem to take a little of the gaminess out of the the meat so I just thought that had something to do with the blood. I will say even thought I rinse the snot out of the rabbit pieces there is still blood in the water after I soak it overnight. So is it drawing more blood out of the meat or not??? I assumed so because of the blood in the water.
