Todays hunt in the snow!!!

Heres a pic of todays hunt on about 4 inches of snow that took place in Fayetville Indiana. Pictured standing in back, Devon Cornett and Josh Franklin. Kneeling with dogs is Jason Bean and his angel and Dillon Cornett with Blazer. over 30 bunnys jumped and 24 harvested. All but two of us got our limit. This was a record for us on private property and on a place where we have never jumped this many rabbits before. They must have been out cause they were hungry and sunning.

Bluebeagle, there were 5 dogs down. They pounded all day long. The lemon males sides were terribly bloody after the hunt.

very nice! our season ended friday so now its back to training mode for me.

our season here In Indiana doesnt end till febuary 15th on private ground, january 31st on public ground.

It was...for the 3rd weekend in a row....an amazing hunt. I still firmly believe that I am the rabbit good luck charm!!! But seriously, it was just ridiculous how many rabbits there were out. I will give it out, Jon has some amazing dogs and I haven't seem rabbits ran quite like his have the past couple weeks. I figure by the time the rabbits make the full circle, they're asking to be shot because they are just worn out. Looking forward to the upcoming weekend and hopefully another record hunt!

Great hunt guys. You boys sure have more rabbits down south than we have up here in NW Indiana. I jumped 8 a week ago before we had the BIG snow and that was the most I've jumped in several years. I'm hunting public land and it gets pounded pretty hard.
