Thanks rnbrunton I posted a link in case anyone else wanted to see the thread. I know it would be easier to just buy these collars, but not sure i waant to spend 60.00 to change out three collars. I know collars run about 5 to 6 bucks a piece and figured I would have about $20 into it by the time i was done.

Instead of adding to a new collar: we just turn the top part (antennae around) were it could be used on smaller dogs. we had to use a hole punch to add a new hole. we also used a piece of hanger to move the wire over to add the new hole. after that we added some new holes to the existing collar; so that, it would allow for some extra holes to tighten the collar for small dogs. Garmin stated that they would honor the warranty if we just turn the antennae around.

sorry i don't understand what you are saying about thr antenna. do you have pictures. also are you saying you are using the manufactures collar? those collars arn't lasting long for me. plus in the winter up here they freeze and turn into a large ice cluster.
